We're the faces behind Nap Hat. I come up with the ideas and he puts them to the test.
As a first-time mum, I quickly realised how difficult it is to keep the sun out of baby's eyes. No matter what I tried — shade screens in the car, draped blankets or towels on the stroller — I just couldn't find anything that worked every time. Even carefully positioned sun hats never did the job properly. The sun would always sneak through somehow and my little one was very skilled at kicking off any makeshift cover.
Realising there was no solution available in Australia, Nap Hat was born.
From sourcing materials to real-life testing, every step has been guided by firsthand experience. I see the value of this product every single day and that's what makes it so special to me.
Since launching Nap Hat, I've discovered it's also become a thoughtful and practical gift I can give to other mums navigating the same challenges. It's been incredibly rewarding to create something that genuinely makes life a little easier.
